The CMC is proudly collaborating along side the International Society of Minimally Invasive Cardiothoracic Surgery (ISMICS), in an effort to promote innovation and collaboration in the field of minimally invasive cardiovascular surgery worldwide. The CMC along side ISMICS will host the 2025 International Academic Conference in Quanzhou, China.
CMC Week 2025 will be held between 20 -26 of October 2025, with the International Surgery Live Week starting on 20th until the 24th of October and an in person conference held in Quanzhou on October 25th to the 26th. During CMC week 2025, ISMICS and CMC have collaborated in creating the 'ISMICS 2025 Workshop' on October 26th. Building a new framework for cross-border communication through dual platform linkage.
This October, Quanzhou will become a global hub for renowned experts, scholars, and cardiothoracic surgeons to explore the latest advancements and innovations in the field of minimally invasive cardiovascular surgery through live surgical cases, specialized seminars, international speakers, and open interactive forums. The collaboration between CMC and ISMICS marks a significant step in China's international influence in the field of minimally invasive cardiovascular surgery.
Both parties will openly discuss the complex challenges frequently faced in the field of minimally invasive cardiac surgery as well as the future of the specialty through resource sharing and academic interaction!

ISMICS 2025 WORKSHOP Call for Abstracts
ISMICS 2025 WORKSHOP is making a call for abstracts.
We welcome abstracts which contribute to improve cardiovascular surgery, no matter how little, such as tips & tricks in MICS surgery, introduction of new devices, innovative way of device usage, new knowledge of preoperative examination or diagnostic imaging, and case report. In addition, complicated or difficult case reports are greatly welcomed because we will hold a nightmare case session this time.
Exemplary abstracts will be selected and become the subject of an official commendation.
We are looking forward to your active submission.

(5) Submission Rules
We call for original, new and significant scientific work.
Abstracts must be structured using the following section headings, except for Case Reports:
Objective: A brief statement of the purpose of the study and the current state of research in the field.
Methods: The methods of study or experimental approach must be defined clearly and briefly.
Results: A summary of the results of the study, including sufficient details to support the conclusions.
Conclusions: A statement concerning the significance of the work and its possible implications for future research.
Tables, images or figures may not be used within your abstract.
Regarding the Movie Presentation, edited 3-minutes sample movie and 100 words abstract includes the key ideas from the video should be submitted. After the online registration. video uploading method will be sent by e-mail.
No reference should be made on or in the abstract to the names or institutions of the authors.
Product names may not be included in the title or body of the abstract otherwise the abstract may be disqualified. Please use generic, not commercial, names for all therapeutic agents.
Accepted abstracts will be printed in the official ISMICS journal, INNOVATIONS, as submitted. Please note that only abstract title and author names can be changed after acceptance. Acceptance of an abstract by the Program Committee for oral or poster presentation at the ISMICS 2025 Workshop signifies that the author(s) have given permission, pending editorial review, for this abstract to be reproduced in the official ISMICS professional journal and available on the ISMICS website.
(6) Notification of Acceptance / Rejection
The results will be decided by the Program Committee and notified by e-mail in the end of September, 2025.
